The Lock Project-January 10th

Hello Fellow Readers!
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the Lock Project, it’s a few days away but wanted to start spreading the word! January 10th draw a lock on your wrist (see the photo for corresponding color) to show others that struggle with mental illness, self harm, eating disorders, etc that they are not alone.
Spread the word for January 10th! And please send your photo’s of your “lock” on your wrist to hopeinhealingrecovery@gmail.com or upload them our Facebook page!
*stay strong

About More Than Skin Deep

More Than Skin Deep was born out of a passion and desire to help people who are struggling with self harm/self injury, as well as other addictive behaviors and/or mental health issues. Having struggled with self harm and major depression disorder, Val knows and understands the desperation and hurt that comes with it. Since having fought to overcome the addictive nature of self harm and recovered by Jesus' amazing grace, and having mentored others who have struggled with many of the same issues, a passion came about to help encourage and inspire others to break free from self harm/self injury. The stigma and the shame associated with self harm is high, scars on the heart can be hidden, but scars on the physical body tell a different story. More Than Skin Deep is an endeavor to tell that story. View all posts by More Than Skin Deep
